We are visual storytellers, passionate about capturing real spaces, real people, and real stories.
The name Josiah means: "God has healed." South Africa has a long and complicated history, but we know God heals. We want to tell the stories of how this happens, and maybe bring some more healing to our hurting land.
Our studio offers both photography and videography services for small businesses, accommodation spaces, NGOs, and individuals who value authenticity and connection.
We love working with South African brands and change-makers to create visuals that feel honest and human. Whether it's lifestyle photography, brand films, or documentary-style content, we aim to keep things simple, soulful, and true to you.
Josiah House was founded by Asher Pardey. Asher has the dream of reinvigorating the film industry in South Africa. He aims to make a space for young filmmakers to display their work, and receive an audience. He wants authentic stories to be told.
Asher has an Honours degree in Film and Television, and is a passionate director and producer. He has worked as a Production Manger, photographer and freelance videographer.
Gracie is a performer by profession, but works at Josiah House as our in house model co-ordinator, administrator and booker, as well as videographer on our big projects. Gracie is fun and a wonderful entertainer, she will make sure you feel super comfortable during our shoots.
